How does it work?
Enzymate is a unique blend. It contains fermented natural products, multi nutrients and biodegradable surfactants which is specifically formulated to rapidly and safely eliminate organic waste material.
Enzymate breaks down the complex waste molecules into progressively smaller less complex elements which in turn act as a food source for the existing bacteria present in the system. The bacteria can then multiply and accelerate the digestion of the waste material.
As a direct odour control treatment, Enzymate suppresses or controls odour by two different mechanisms which results in immediate control and long term destruction of the source of the odours.
- Firstly, it can “capture” the volatile organic compounds, reducing their volatility and preventing them from reaching the nose producing a practically instantaneous reduction in perceived odour.
- Secondly, Enzymate will then degrade the odour causing molecules and bacteria and converting them into carbon dioxide and water.
Enzymate will continue to work long after the initial application, getting into previously inaccessible areas and providing a more thorough clean.

Recommended dosage
Depending on the source of the odour Enzymatic can be either applied:
- - Direct to the waste stream as in the case of septic tanks, grease traps, sludge ponds
- - As a surface wipe
- - As a fine aerosol spray
A fine aerosol spray is also the most effective way for Enzymatic to capture air borne volatile organic compounds. An aerosol spray generates a large surface area allowing the compounds to be efficiently and rapidly absorbed.
For cleaning spills and removing strong odours it will be necessary to spray a liberal dose of Enzymatic and allow the enzymatic to work over a period. A second application may be required in serious cases.

Compatibility
Enzymate works by stimulating the activity of micro-organisms naturally present in the organic waste.
However, the efficiency of Enzymate will be restricted by the presence of
• abnormally low acidic conditions or
• abnormally high alkaline conditions
• the presence of biocides
• very low or very high temperatures
• high concentrations of salts
• harsh chemicals.
